S3xx get a bad rep since the 6.7 displaces much more than the 5.9 and can be perceived as under sized.

The 6.7 will spin a s4xx series fine.

It’s all about picking the right wheel combo paired with manifold outlet.

Changing one of the 3 factors will impact the setup one way or another so it’s about finding a balance and ultimately how the truck is driven/where it’s driven.

Same topic being discussed on another forum I’m on s467 vs s465 on stock fuel.

Guy who posted it said this is what his s467.7 maxed out at on stock fuel.

Ram beast projects also did a dyno YouTube video with Greg A awhile back and both of their trucks made the same power as above on stock fuel I believe both ran s467’s with stock fuel.

Not to shabby sniffing 600hp just adding air! CP3s must be in good shape.

I know RAM beasts was a relatively low mile/newer truck.

Im likely putting a 3rd Gen kit on my DD here soon so I’ll report back what size I choose and how it does.

Since I have no clue about S3xx sizes - can you throw a couple sizes out that would be daily driveable and make good power (600+)?

Like what's a "big" or comparable 300 to the 467.7 or 465 kind of thing.

Had to re watch the video ram beast made 531hp on the dyno. Which is more consistent with what I’ve seen with mail order custom tunes.

That 574hp was tuned on the dyno by firepunk diesel.

I'd say that's a pretty good answer to stock fuel on a 467.7

    Thanks for the post, guy.

Did they have what the 465 maxed out on stock fuel at??

That’s maxed out dyno tunned not mail order tunes which are a little less most times.

465 is right about the same.

Don’t expect more than 550 from either turbo on stock fuel.

Well that's good to know if I stay on stock fuel for a while.

I think I'd almost take the better spooling S465 and 500hp+ on stock fuel for a while then see what I can get with future fuel - upgrade the turbo at that time if I'm not happy with it.

I can definitely curb my goal down to like 600hp+ if I can get away with spending a significantly less amount of money and properly not have to dive into the motor.

Keep in mind that max number is at about 2300 rpm which isn’t too high relatively speaking. Some larger chargers you need to be closer to 3k for power.

I’d be curious to see the whole curve and what power is 1500-1900.

Most of these setups will light like a rocket stabbing the throttle.

For the 300 size im going with the iron horn kit Which is the 3rd gen manifold and keeps factory air box, down pipe, lines etc. size 300sxe- 64.5/80/.91 divided.

Ray confirmed once I added fuel I’ll be able to make 600+ at wheels.

The charger is T4 flange so if I get a winning lottery ticket I can buy a second gen manifold and use that as primary charger for compounds.
