*** Sound Tune On A Hollowed Out VS Straight Pipe?

    Good day everyone,

I have a 2018 2500 and I love the way sound from the exhaust when I can hear the turbo.

So my question is can I just hollow out the stock exhaust and get a sound tune so if I’m visually inspected I don’t get flak (texas) or would I be better served just 4 inch straight?

Still on the fence about next steps due to warranty LOL!!

For the price of an aftermarket system vs factory I would replace and keep stock on hand

I agree with @TexNeck, but yes you can just hollow it.

I dont know what you'll get for sounds.

I know hollowed out big rigs dont sound much different.

The empty can still muffles really well.
