    Tuner For MPGs

So I just bought my first diesel, 2020 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. 5in lift with 37s, with no load I’m averaging 15 mpg but with but with pulling my trailer or boat I’m gettin around 7.

I’ve been looking around for a tuner to help improve my mpg with and without a trailer but can’t find any that are compatible with the 2020 yet.

Do y’all have know of any tuners that are compatible that can help me out?

What kind of boat and when is the last time you serviced the trailers wheel bearings and brakes (if installed)?

Could you also give an idea of where you are from?

Mpg while towing in the open and flat states is a little different than through the hills.

    Speed is also a factor.

For reference my 18 all stock towing an aerodynamic brick at 8000lbs for over 3000miles averaged 11.8.

With a 5in lift and 37's those are pretty decent numbers.

Heck my 2012 with 35's and no lift gets 13-14 mpg driving every day and hauling our camper it gets like 10.2.

    Those numbers aren't awful considering a 5" lift & 37s.

How heavy are the trailers and how fast do you drive?

Boat is 20ft offshore aprox 6k lbs, trailer is 8.6x16 enclosed. I try to strictly stick to the speed limit with is typically 55 or 70 around here an ground is pretty much flat with no hills.

So your speedometer is off with the new tires.

How are you calculating your fuel mileage?
