    High Boost Levels

    Looking for some help.

2016 RAM 3500 G56 tuned and deleted had the factory VGT actuator fail on me 2 months ago.

Installed City Diesels Actuator and the truck worked great.

Now all of a sudden when going to work in the morning my truck will bury the factory boost gauge to 36psi at light throttle application.

Go home in the afternoon truck run like it should with hard throttle app boost gauge hitting 28 psi.

Any help as to why I'm building so much boost so easily?

My brother had a similar issue.

The difference was that it would randomly spike regardless of time of day.

The problem ended up being the throttle valve in the intake horn.

    It would randomly slam shut.

    Check for loose boost clamps.
