    Wheel Hubs And Ball Joints

Need wheel hubs and ball joints, which route should I go.

I want them to last but want to save money.

Looking at maybe Timken or SKF Wheel Bearing and maybe Carli ball joints, but they are very expensive.

    What does everyone recommend?

Might want to look at synergy or emf ball joints.

As for wheel bearings how many miles do you have on the stockers?

On previous trucks, I typically used OEM if the stockers made 100k, otherwise used both timken and skf.

Truck has 79,500 miles now, so I think they are still the original ball joint and wheel bearings. I don't want to spend crazy money but I will if it means they last.

How long are guys getting out of Stock ball joints.

    Mine is a 2015 2500 90k?

    What to look for also?

And why are you guys using now as a replacement, EMF is out of stock and Carli is not a option for that price.

    MOOG any good?

I used to run Moog on my GMC trucks, so not the same truck, but same mfg and they were absolute crap.

I was replacing them every 20-25k.

I now run the Carli lifetimes and can’t be happier, but damn it sucks only having one arm and leg left.

Yea that’s crazy priced hoping EMF comes back in stock.

Still don’t understand a fail point of the RAMS they haven’t fixed it yet after all these years.

2011, little over 145k on her now.
I'm in the process of doing the ball joints, front outer axle u-joints and wheel bearings.
    Carli ball joints
    Spicer u-joints
    Timken Wheel bearings
For the price I was quoted to do just Moog ball joints from a local shop, I paid less for all the parts and some of the tools

Moog is junk now especially on heavy duty trucks with a big motor.

EMF is good, Dynatrac is better, Carli Extreme's are best.

If you can swing EMF's I'd recommend waiting until you can do Carli's if at all possible.

We have one set of 14+ Carli extreme's in stock and can get Dynatrac's with several payment options.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I have been running XRS ball joints and have been very happy with them.

They are not that expensive and have a lifetime warranty (unless you have over size tires).

Even without the warranty I get 100k out of them.

OEM ball joints would only last me about 30k - 40k miles.
