    Rear Lighting Ideas

Thinking of adding some rear lighting to my truck.

I've thought of a couple options but nothing set in stone. 1 is dual 6" light bars on each side of the rear bumper on the bottom side but I don't know if I like the look.

Also could go with some flush mounts in the bumper but the bumper is curved and I don't know if I can commit to the permanent look in the bumper.

I wouldn't mind having some I could hide when not in use.

Had an idea to do the dual 6" light bars then have it where I can fold it up 90 degrees so its out of sight when not in use.

    Any good ideas out there?

I had 3" dual row led pods mounted below and behind the bumper on my old truck.

You could barely see them from behind until I turned them on.

I had mine wired off the reverse lights so they came on automatically.

If you went with single row pods they would hide even better.

What is the main reason for adding these?

Are you looking for more output overall for backing or is there a specific time you need them?

I've got a couple of different ones wired up. I have a small strip that comes on with reverse lights above trailer hitch but below factory bumper, so I can see my trailer ball in dark.

Others I have in my toolbox on aux switch. I did this for launching my boat/prep if I needed light I would drop the tailgate and it would flood ramp/boat deck.
