I honestly don’t see why it wouldn’t be acceptable.
The factory fuel tank doesn’t have baffles.

I also wouldn’t worry about the slosh, and it can’t be any worse than a big ole stock tank that’s only partially full.

I thought about putting it in where the def tank was.
Seen a pic where a guy put his air pump and tank there for his leveling.

Def tank area would be sweet.
Then you don’t lose any bed space and the people that would freak if they saw you putting diesel in where def should go.
