I do, however, have a brand new 16-gallon fuel cell with foam and a level sending unit.

I know the foam would deteriorate and could become a problem.

I wonder if it would be ok to use it as an auxiliary tank and remove the foam.

I could put it in my toolbox with no problem.

I pretty much have everything to plumb it.

Just not sure if the lack of baffling creates a problem.

    I need some advice, please.

Eventually, I plan to get what I need when finances get better—just trying to survive this hectic year.
I’d use it, but that’s me.

Things are built for racing, tough stuff.

Ya, I’m not worried about the cell.

    It’s the fuel sloshing around.

    I know you might know.

I honestly don’t see why it wouldn’t be acceptable.

The factory fuel tank doesn’t have baffles.

I also wouldn’t worry about the slosh, and it can’t be any worse than a big ole stock tank that’s only partially full.

I’m going to do it gravity feed it in.

I thought about putting it in where the def tank was.

Seen a pic where a guy put his air pump and tank there for his leveling.

Def tank area would be sweet.

Then you don’t lose any bed space and the people that would freak if they saw you putting diesel in where def should go.
