Overheating After Shedding Some Extra Weight

I deleted with EZ Lynk w/CTT, 5” exhaust, fleece bypass, and Randy’s VB on my 18.

Temps are now getting up to 215 under normal highway driving.

    Any ideas as to why?

Pardon my ignorance - once again: Are you referring to coolant temps or ATF temps?
    I'm assuming coolant...

Right on 37Cummins, under the (assuming coolant) LOL, I'll chime in. Again assuming that the EGR is no longer in play, did you 'burp' your cooling system? If so, the timing could be a bit co-inky dinkie but perhaps yer T-stat is in need a change or at least an ops ck with the the ole' thermometer and 'stat on your stove and heating of the water to see when its actually opening. i played with 180 and 190 as well as the 205 that was my truck when purchased. I'm in Az and with our summers here the 180 worked like a champ until the heat went away and then it threw a CEL for cooling, note to self. Went 190 and all has been well ever since. Again if the EGR and associated components are removed, gives you much faster and easier access to your T-stat. Great luck Sir, Also I noticed that it takes the truck longer to reach that operating temp whence the liberation has been completed, or at least that's what they tell me.......

Thanks Murph! I’ve buried it a few times. I’ll stop and grab a Tstat on the way home today. Will go with 190° see if that helps.
From what I’ve seen they are extremely hard to burp sometimes. As well as the multiple ways to get it to burp.

Also Sir, NOT assuming, LOL you would but spend the money and get OEM! When I burped mine I just drove until gauge and indicator were where they should be and took my trusty pail and 1/4" apex paired smartly with my snap-on 1/4" drive ratchet and opened until I had solid flow (I had about 10 seconds of intermittent flow btw). Not sure which rig you have but I understand that there are some subtle differences as to the procedure, hopefully others will chime in and getcha fixed up bro. Have a great day !

*Burp with engine running, level and environmentally safe pail, but I'm sure you already knew that, more LOL.

I got a new thermostat in but it started raining pretty hard here.

So it’ll wait until the morning.
