    Re: Bad Mileage?

That mileage isn't bad considering the speed and the tire size.

I am pulling a small 5'er on stock 20 inch Firestone's so it would be expected mine should do a bit better.

I also have to factor in I have the Aisin auto but with modern converter lock that should be less of a factor cruising at highway speeds.

That's what I was getting before the delete and with out the 35s. I deleted and got 35s around the same time. After that tank I got 17.7 hand calculated.. mostly city and some highway.

Good mileage is not synonymous with towing and 35s.

    Your numbers sound about right.

I get 12-14 mpg empty driving back roads with my setup.

    I guess it's about right.

Now to decide which dual disk clutch to get.

When the money is right of course.

    Thanks again.
I would recommend driving a G56 with dual disc clutch first, that might change your mind.

Especially towing, backing, or on dirt forest service roads.

A single disc is normally adequate, especially if you use the 30hp tune.

Then you can maintain stock pedal feel and engagement.

    We revived the MPG thread?

    Great!

2016 SRW 3500 Longhorn. Bone stock.

I've been recording the MPG for the last 10,000 miles.

Gets a constant 11.5 MPG hauling a little slide-in camper.

That's hand calculated (and what the lie-o-meter on the EVIC usually says too).
