    MM3 Install

So I just installed my MM3 and tunes by DRD....sooooo worth it!

I was trying to find a good spot under the dash for the tuner components, but there’s not a lot of room under there and I didn’t really want to just hang it from another wiring harness so I found another option for anyone who’s looking for a better spot or someone that will be doing an install shortly.

I mounted mine in the center console under the drink holders.

For an extra 10 mins work everything is nice and neat and hidden.

If you route the cables carefully they are just long enough for the cable to reach the monitor on the dash.

I just zip tied it to the ducting for the rear seats.

I don’t think that duct really gets “hot” so I’m sure it’ll all be good.

    Nice choice!

I had mine mounted the same way.

I liked it much better than trying to keep it secured up under the dash.

    Nice!

I can’t mount mine that way due to it being a G56 but I did pop the cover off the driver side instrument/dash and zipped tied mine there.

Nice, I was planning on crawling under the dash this weekend trying to locate a place to put the tuner.

    Thanks for the heads up!

Where did you go through the firewall at?

There’s a block off plate on the firewall right beside the main wiring harness.

    It’s just made of plastic.

Take the bolts off from inside the cab under the dash and drill a hole through it to run the wires and then bolt in back on.
