    2012 RAM 3500 Delete

    Hey guys, new here.

Not sure if this thread is elsewhere on the forum.

    Having troubles navigating it all.

Was curious if anyone could give me an idea on what the cheapest way to delete a 2012 RAM 3500 would be?

DPF filter is starting to give me problems and only at 54k miles.

Would much rather delete and be done with it then cough up the 2k for a new DPF filter.

I've done a little research and alot are saying the H&S Minimaxx would be my best option for a delete tuner that wouldn't throw codes.

Really not worried about a footprint on the ecm as i plan on dying with this truck in my possession.

Figured for the delete pipe I could go to a muffler shop and have them cut me out a piece of 4" pipe then order some block off plates online somewhere.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

@chancetraylor00 we wouldn't recommend the H&S Minimaxx as support is very hard to find.

The issue you are having nagavtiging the site is due to us limiting the (FREE) membership due to peeking eyes.

Being a '12 there are definitely cheaper options available than on the newer trucks.

No need for a full replacement exhaust or block off plates.

You really only need a delete pipe and a tuner of some sort with appropriate tuning.

You have to be careful with the H&S MM as the included shift on the fly power changes do not update all the necessary parameters and can cause head gasket failures.

I recently traded in my '12 with just over 100k miles.

I ran a RaceME Jr and H&S XRTPro tuners before going to custom tuning.

Both units were fairly basic units but very reliable and relatively inexpensive compared to some other options.
