Delete Question (Probably a Dumb Question)

So I purchased DRD tuning and seriously can’t thank them enough from my first question to shipping notification was <2 hours.

My question is I’m using it to delete def system (due to service def message, 85 miles to limp mode) and delete egr but keep it intact.

I imagine it’s also going to tune out the DPF getting rid of Regens.

I do not have a delete pipe and need to drive the truck this weekend.

Is it safe to do so with the DPF still intact?

    No stupid questions here friend.

To answer your question you need a delete pipe or aftermarket exhaust.

Think I could get away with not having one for ~300 miles?

I have a fishing tournament this weekend and don’t know if I can get a delete pipe by then.

No you will need one ASAP.

DPF will get plugged up very quickly with delete tuning - something like maybe not even 100miles.

@DRD can get you the exhaust as well.

Nope it will clog a stock system in 30 miles or less.

    Thanks fellas.

Sorry for the dumb questions wasn’t planning on deleting, but because of the DEF system failing it needs to happen now.

Do I need a SCR delete as well or can I get by with just a DPF delete pipe?

You need to delete both, or get a full turbo-back exhaust.
