    Will do this tomorrow, hopefully that's the issue. I have dual alternators.

    Okay, I would start by disconnecting both negative battery terminals then just measure from the negative battery post to wire on the drivers side.

    Take your time and allow the current to settle down to the lowest reading then disconnect one alternator at a time and compare readings then both.

    If the current doesn’t go down to .040 amps or lower then continue with each fuse and then each relay.

    So how did you make out? Did you find the source of the current draw?

    If both alternators check out okay... at some point you should check current draw at the radio fuse under the hood on the upper firewall, passenger side.

    With everything closed and ready to be locked other then the hood open.

    You need to set the hood latch to close and set the alarm and wait 10 minutes for the computers to enter sleep mode.

    Then start testing with an amp clamp meter.

    You should have the batteries load tested and verified the are in good order.

    Reason I say this is because it will give you false readings when tracing draws.

    Let me know how things go I see a lot of these issues in our shop.
