    P0108 Code

Had my truck deleted recently, or rather more deletes done, MM3 tuner installed and a few other upgrades.

After a hard acceleration of 3-5 seconds, approximately, I get a CEL and the lightning bolt on the dash.

Pulling the DTC shows the P0108 code. Should the sensor just be replaced or is this a common issue?

I searched the forums but yielded no results. TIA.

That code is for the MAP sensor.

Double check to make sure you didn't unplug it when working around the EGR.

    It's a common mistake.

Once you confirm the plug is secured, try clearing the code.

If the code still comes back then probably just needs cleaned or replaced.

As already said but with a pic LOL.

The circled throttle valve can be unplugged.

The map sensor above the circled one cannot.

So if your map is unplugged, plug it back in, and if it's not unplugged it can be pulled and cleaned, may be best and easiest to just replace.

    Thanks for the assistance guys.

I had a new pusher intake installed, so the throttle valve and map sensor were definitely moved around.

The sensor is installed and I’ve verified that and it’s seated securely.

I’ll just replace it and try that.

It’s only under WOT for several seconds that it throws the code and normal driving seems to be unaffected by the CEL being on, had me scratching my head for a bit.

    Ah I see.
That may need to be addressed with tuning, since you have an aftermarket horn.

    Turned off/ignored.

Had that happen to my 2012.

A new one from Geno's took care of it. I have a BD S2 intake horn.

Verify if you can that you have 5 volts going to the map.

If that's good, then you could be looking for anything from a vacuum leak, to bad ECM.

I'd still contact your tuner and ask if the map sensors high voltage values can or need to changed with an aftermarket air horn also.

These are just suggestions and the things I'd look into if it was mine.
