    EGT Temps

So, the EGT portion on my box just up and quit this afternoon, had worked fine, pulled into a parking lot, went to back into a spot, so as I did, started showing the little red n/a box and no reading.

I figure that little box may have gone bad to which the red and yellow EGT probe wires attach to. Thoughts anyone? Thanks for the help in advance.

The thermocouple that's threaded into the exhaust may have burnt through or came apart inside.

I lost one on my last truck and had way high (2200 deg) readings.

I immediately pulled off the road thinking I was about to melt the pistons.

I would check the connection where the junction box (with red & white wires) plugs into the MM3 box under the dash and then check the wire from the junction box to the temperature probe for any signs of damage.

If all looks good I would call MM3 Power to see if they can give any troubleshooting tips to test the junction box and temperature probe.

    Please keep us posted.

Alright, so I get in the truck this morning, the EGT is working, then it stops, now it's working again. I have checked ALL wiring connections and tried to tighten up the EGT probe in the exhaust manifold. Everything is good. Suggestions?
