Okay- sorry for the delay.
The Mega Cab is back up and running and better than ever!

Upon removal of the transmission, we saw what actually happened.
Not only did I kill the flex plate, but the mounting flanges on the torque converter were ripped off from the torque of the engine!



I ordered a Billet Flex Plate from BD Diesel- and a Stage 4 Torque Converter from RevMax Converters- out of Charlotte, NC.



All in all, a month of downtime (buddy and I did it at the Dodge dealer after hours) and roughly $1600 total spent.

Even before re-installing the Smarty, I could feel a more positive engagement and better power/throttle response.

Here she is back on her feet- getting ready to haul my grandpas F-250 Powerstroke back over the hill to California.
Very grateful for him letting me use his truck while mine was down.
