    Block Heater

    Where is the plug located?

Want to get everything set for this coming winter while it's still nice out since our current house doesn't have a garage.

One of your freeze plugs have a 3 prong fitting in it where the cord goes.

My truck gas it in the passenger side and they gave the cable already attached.

If you have the cord already attached it should be behind the passenger side grill/ bumper area.

If no cord then the block heater plug is located on the passenger side lower engine area.

Sadly I checked under my front bumper and didn't see the cord.

So I am thinking I'll have to locate the cord by going under the whole truck.

I'll wait for cooler weather before I do that LOL.

Unfortunately they only provide the cord for the northern trucks or you special order it when purchasing the truck.

You can get a block heater cord pretty cheap on Amazon or eBay.

The block heater itself should already be there.

The block heater connection is just behind the oil filter on the passenger side of the engine.

A power cord can be had from Genos or Amazon for about 20 bucks.

    Thanks guys!

My truck was originally sent to Utah and then made it's way to Indiana before I purchased it and brought it up here to Michigan.

I will order the cord and plug it in when it isn't 95* outside LOL.
