Demand the dealer to pay 75% as it’s their fault that engine is trashed.

If they fight you, fight back.

If you do that, you’ll be able to "settle" with them later.

Always demand more than you want to actually settle on. You don’t lose when you do that...most of the time.

I agree with both of you I’m fighting for more.

I think I had the issue and it was going to happen the dealer just didn’t fix it first go around and misdiagnosed.

FCA has upped it to 50% and the dealer is offering to kick in a few thousand to cover the $1100 I spent on the injector and the time without a car.

They’ve given me a courtesy truck finally.

I’m still pushing for more just wanted to give an update.

    Sorry I haven’t updated everybody!

So long story short the dealer covered the install and Chrysler covered about 55% of the motor.

All in all it cost me about $10k and I’ve got a brand new motor from top to bottom, turbo, etc. and a 100k mile warranty on it as well.

It was painful and I hate it but I didn’t wanna get rid of the truck and I figure a lawyer would’ve cost me the $10k I spent anyway.

I will now have to wait another few years to delete for the warranty to be expired.
