    2010 3500 M/C Center Wheel Cap

Looking for OEM center wheel cap for my truck, it needs to have the ram head logo.

Dealership says 130 or so on back order?

    Any help, much appreciated!

Yes Sir, still ridiculous all be it better than the even more ridiculous dealer price, was just checkin' other resources before I go with amazon. Who woulda thunk it? More than a $100.00 for molded plastic..... I guess that's why somebody stole mine, not so LOL, LOL.

I am very thankful that I can afford it, and complain to OUR small circle here, don't get me wrong. Principal I guess. Have a great weekend Sir!

Yeah that’s a lot of money for some plastic.

I’ve gotten good deals at Steve White motors in the past.

Wouldn’t hurt to check them out if you haven’t already.

Have a great 4th of July friend!

    Re: 2010 3500 M/C Center Wheel Cap

A few years back I made the trip from Alaska to Utah. Long story short while in Utah I noticed I had lost the cap on the front driver side. I called the local dealership and they had one in stock. I went and picked it up almost fainted at the price, I think it was around $140. Anyway I installed it in the parking lot and decided to stop by a self serve car wash on the way back to the RV park. I was walking around the truck with the wash wand, looked down and the cap was missing on the front passenger side. My first thought was the dealership may have removed it and sold it to me. No that wouldn’t happen! So I had to go back to the dealership and special order another one, keeping my eyes open for any sign of it along the route, no luck. Haven’t lost any since but I do check them often and smack them with a rubber mallet.

Indeed, and with 170k (no other ((knock on wood)) wheel cap probs) on the rig I do the same making sure they are seated and of course after tire rotations etc. The wife runs a grocery store (taken the truck that day) and i had been out catin' around on the bike, she asked me to bring her lunch. So when I got to the store I parked next to her at the end of the lot, so as I always do did a walk around and was lookin for stray carts, all was clear. Grabbed the lunch and finished, well upon return to throw a leg over the scooter, thats when I noticed it was gone. So, as things go, LOL, the wife and I were laughing as we queried the idea of new wheels! Much more LOL.....

    Re: 2010 3500 M/C Center Wheel Cap

I recently purchased some used Laramie Longhorn wheels and had them installed on my SLT.

Ultimately I plan to replace the “Laramie Longhorn” center caps with the “Ram’s Head” center caps (which I think look better).

I watched a video on YouTube that recommended the use of clear silicone when installing the center caps and I’m thinking about doing that when I install them.
