Usually I wet sand them and use a fine grit rubbing compound and buff them. Since I'm Experimenting still I used 600 grit sandpaper and then clear coated them.

You probably want to use a 1000 grit Rob
I use 1500 grit and hit it with the polishing wheel. Alex can tell his 98's looked brand new in about 15 minutes

LOL I would have been there all day with a 1000.that's 600 grit will do just fine Compared to what they did look like. LOL
