    68RFE Popping Tranny Cooler Lines

    I’ve got a 2015 Cummins running the 68RFE.

It’s deleted and tuned by Milliken Diesel Performance running the Smarty MM3.

My transmission cooler lines bulged and caused separation at the transmission couplers.

This happened at cruising speed, not harsh condition.

The dealer claims it’s due to increased line pressure from the tune.

But I’ve heard conflicting accounts from different diesel shops.

Does anybody have an actual experience with this?

    Welcome friend.

Sounds like to much line pressure.

    Welcome!

You should monitor your line pressure and discuss with your tuner.

When you say Milliken Diesel, I assume you mean Ryan Milliken which I would infer means Hardway Performance?

I’m definitely thinking I need a new tuner.

I like the MM3 but I have suspicions that the current tranny tune is causing a line pressure issue.

I have heard great things about Ryan Milliken.

@DRD should be able to help square you away since you have a MM3 already.

Hardway does solid work and they’re a good group of guys.

Ray has done me right on 2 trucks and I trust his tuning.

I reached out to DRD and I think that’s the way I’ll go.

Everyone on here highly recommends him.

    Thanks!
