Rough Idle and Stutter - HELP

Which OBD link do you have?

I believe there is a way to check cylinder pressure.

It would be a decent place to start to see if they are all within 5% of each other or not.

If you can see rail pressure I would see what it is doing when it’s acting up.

I have a OBD link MX.

I have a few programs but can't find either of those.

I'll check again maybe I didn't see them.

I pulled the valve cover and check resistance I'm Injectors today and they are all very similar at around .04-.07 ohms. For what it's worth. Was going to block off 1 Injector at a time but batteries are dead and it's being stubborn with jump starting.

I was able to get it started. With it running I disconnected 1 Injector at a time. #6 injector seemed to make the least bit of difference when it was unplugged. But even with 6 disconnected it still smoked when reved up in park. I also did the shake test on the FCA and it has a small rattle or ball type tick which I read is what you want. Any and all help appreciated.

Also this was unplugging the injector not blocking off the fuel.

Sounds like number 6 is leaking or stuck open if the sound didn’t change when you unplugged it.

With injectors unplugged it should smoke more with all that fuel dumping into a technically dead cylinder or were you saying at one point you unplugged all 6 injectors?

I worked my way from #1 to #6 one at a time.

All made a significant misfire except #6 it seemed to make the least.

I only revved it with #6 disconnected not each one at a time.

( It's messy) buy it smoked a lot when revved in park with just #6 unplugged.

I finally replaced the injectors with BBI stage .05 and 6.7 tubes. I also did I full fuel system flush. Runs like a dream and I'm not going to lie this things runs faster and smoother with no tune then it did with any smarty tunes. I highly recommend these Injectors with the 6.7 tubes.

    Thanks for the help guys.

I have replaced a ton of Injectors in these trucks for friends and family and never seen a CR run like this one from bad injector/s.

Also noticed alot of grit and junk between injector copper washer and the head, and #1 and #2 Injector were noticably cleaner then the rest and those two also needed the puller to remove them while the other I just pulled out by hand.

    For what's it's worth.
