Bak Mx4 and G2 tonneau cover

Question for the group. Does anyone have the Bak MX4 or G2 tonneau cover. I am looking at getting a new tonneau cover for my truck but I need to get some measurements to see if will work with my diesel transfer tank.
Specifically, the how big is the panel that is closest to the cab(one that doesn't fold) and how deep does the cover inset into the bed? Any help would be appreciated!

I have the Extang tri-fold. It sits n top of the bed rails. Only protrusion below the bed rails are the clamps that secure the front corners. Non-foldable section at the front of the bed is about 1/3 of the bed space.

    Hope this helps,

    Bob
