2016- 2500 stock all emissions intact with 106,000 miles.
Went to the truck the other day, started it, and the following codes popped up.
See attached sheet ( posted below ) for reference.
I don't drive this truck very often ( around 5,000/ year ) & we live in the Dallas area, so temperature wise, she's hot outside.
Not sure the lack of driving has anything to do with the codes, just information for the post.
So they all seem to relate to the DEF/doser area of the truck.
I tried to delete the codes, but since they are permanent codes, no such luck, as the repair must take place for them to disappear.
Here is what I have tried.
I climbed underneath to the DEF tank, and on top of the tank are the connections for the pump.
I unplugged both, & cleaned the connectors with electronic cleaner, put it back together, and started her up.
Low and behold, the CIL went off.
I thought the day was saved...but that was short lived. 10 minutes into my drive the CIL came back on, so i ran another code check which is attached.
Same codes popped up.
So, I have 2 questions.
Does anyone think it is a faulty DEF pump ( things seem to point that way ) or something else I should check that may be the cause I am missing?
I usually take it to Texas Diesel Power in Weatherford, TX, https://texasdieselpower.com, but didn't want to drive over there since it was such a haul, & if it kicked me in limp mode, that would suck driving slower than a tricycle moves!
I did call them and they are the ones to suggest to make sure the connections were good.
If y'all are around the Dallas area or beyond, & you don't know who they are, check them out.
John, the owner races in NHRA with his top fuel CUMMINS powered diesel!
Not sure the attachment came through so I posted codes below: Trying to get it fixed if there is a simple solution.
