I have a 2007 dodge with 6.7 Cummins and a 68RFE Transmission with complete EGR delete with a H&S programmer.
I have had the truck for 3 years. It has 210,000 miles. I drove it to NC to pick up a horse trailer.
On the way back to KY it started acting up and wouldn't shift past 4th gear.
You could stop and let it set and when you took off it would shift.
When you got in heavy traffic and had to downshift it would start again.
It done that a few times and then it stayed in 4th and wouldn't go past it.
I had the transmission rebuilt completely. New torque converter, new valve body assembly and pump in front of the transmission. Complete from the front to back with all new electrical components.
I drove it about 100 miles and it started over again. I took it back to transmission shop and they went thru it completely again.
The ECM and TCM were sent off and checked and they were good.
They were reflashed with the latest program.
Drove about 150 miles and it is doing the same thing.
Shifts up to 4th gear and starts lunging and will not shift any farther.
I could really use some suggestions and wonder if any one else has had this problem.
