Another Oil Topic/Thread but on a Serious note!

After having a few Facebook chats with a couple of the fellars from HSS - I possibly might switch with my next OCI & go with HSS Green Diamond (Which is infused with this FR3 friction reducer Additive) I was instructed that the FR of course is for Friction Reducer and the 3 is for the basic 3 additives used - which the video I posted kind of assures me of that from the VOA...

I feel it is a Really High Quality Diesel oil - But is it on the same level or even close to the same level of quality as Amsoil?

Project Farm creates alot of very interesting videos that makes a fella like me think to much... Here is is video of his tests of the HSS FR3 Addtive...

    The Results are interesting!

Now just to clear the air: If this was not my last truck I wouldn't care what brand I was running as long as I was using the proper viscosity for my Driving Style & Habits...
But since this is my First & Last new Truck - I want to run a Brand & Viscosity that just makes me feel warm & fuzzy and gives me goose bumps when I pour it in...

So! Comparing HSS Green Diamond and their PAO Blue Diamond diesel oils to Amsoils diesel oil line - do you feel the quality is close to equal on a even playing field?
?I'm wondering what the General Conscientious is from the Members within the Community who really Think about & Research the fluids they run in their Rams...

I'm running TRIAX Supreme ESP now with a Stratapore filter & my 6.7L is Extremely Responsive / Smooth Running / Actually pretty quiet when compared to the Factory oil...
I would be perfectly content to stay with the TRIAX from here on out - My 6.7L really seems to like the Above Average PPM of Moly & Boron within the Formulation...

I hate it when this happens - A slow night @ work and I'm thinking out loud!

We are dealers for HSS and after Going through their training I am now a full believer. They also sent some to me to try out because they were so sure of it. I’ve been running in my truck for over 10,000 miles and I’m extremely happy with it. I do all samples every time and it always comes back perfect. I’m waiting on my next shipment so I can do an oil change I use the blue diamond in my personal truck. Also these are the oil change kit that I’m waiting on that you had mentioned. They will be with hot shot secret oil.

Slightly off topic but I'm sure you guys have the answer:

I'm thinking about using Archoil friction modifier on my next oil change.

Do you just add the friction modifier amount on top of the full 12qts of oil? Or do you reduce the amount of oil added by the amount of friction reducer taking its place?

Thanks Clayton for sharing your experience & knowledge - Most avoid threads like this due to there really is no true honest answers...

I really think I'll make the switch with my winter OCI & then when they introduce their new ATF +4 - I will make that switch - If they can keep the price competitive with the Mopar ATF +4...

    Thanks again!

Coal Train: How much archoil you adding?
I've heard and read some very good reviews about Archoil.

Just me---> If it's less then 24oz - I would just add it with the 3gal.

Reduce the amount of motor oil.

Just my .02, I wouldn't run any ATF except whatever brand the vehicle is.

It seems like I've seen more transmission issues arise after someone changed transmission fluid brands.

If I were to change ATF brands I'd do it very quickly on a new vehicle, quickly being 1,000 miles or less.

Again, just my .02 so take it with a grain of salt.
