    Intake Temp Sensors?

    I’m monitoring my intake sensors, I have a slight rough ideal so thinking it could be MAP or MAF.

    Looking at the PIDS to monitor there’s a lot of temps to monitor?

    Wondering PIDs are getting there information from.

    I’m only aware of three on the intake track. IAT at airbox, MAP which also monitors temp - on intake horn, and there an IAT on the intake manifold plate by the fuel rail.

    My trucks been cold for a week and checking temps on the monitor they all show close to the same ambient air temp except the intake manifold temp which significantly higher than the rest.

    Does this indicate an issue with the sensor and which sensor actually is it?

    Not sure how there can be so many intake system PIDs for only a few sensors?

    Unfortunately we still don’t have a MM3 Comprehensive Users Guide.

    Attached is one from Smarty Touch which is similar and should help. Check out pages 17 through 21.

    Hope this helps. @MM3 Power are you still working on making a guide available?

    I am just really curious to what the manifold intake temp is so high compared to all the other temps.

    Just checked mine, engine cold, “Run” position engine not running.

    As you can see my IAM-T is also reading approximately 30* higher.

    I am thinking this is probably a known error with the MM3.

    @DRD can you please confirm?
