    2004 Cummins Injector Wiring Issues

So this is a post to help out my brother-in-law; he rebuilt the engine completely on his 04 RAM.

The only issue he is having now is fuel knock from the injectors.

The injectors were tested and cleaned by a reputable shop, and we think the issue is the 3 connectors on the lower valve cover for the injectors.

He doesn't remember the order they go, and we can't find a diagram anywhere for those 3 plugs.

Does anyone have a diagram for those 3 connectors?

Or some detailed pictures to help out?

Did you look in the FSM section for that?

    Probably in electrical.

I'll look here when I get a chance.

    Is it running smoothly?

    Found the diagram.

It was about 4000ish pages in, LOL.

Injectors are wired correctly, and it might be a ground issue getting a bunch of codes for sensors.

The truck won't start still; a lot of white smoke out exhaust now.

The timing is all good, leaning towards the wiring harness being bad.

Now the only codes showing up are for the intake heater and P0201 through P0206 injector circuits open.

The truck no longer starts, only cranks and bellows white smoke.

It has been quite some time, but I just wanted to say my brother-in-law sent the new injectors back to get tested, and 2 of them were clogged with crap.

They were cleaned and rebuilt; the truck runs amazing and has been for a while now.
