    4th Gen Connecting Rod Questions

Couple years ago I bought a remanufactured 6.7L to install in my 2011 ram 2500 four-wheel drive.

Flash forward a couple of years noticed a knocking and I proceeded to remove the head and oil pan with the engine in frame and examined all of my rod and main bearings noticed they all needed to be replaced.

After removing all of my pistons and rods from the engine I noticed that I have 4 rods with the part number stamped on them 3 9 7 -1 2 1 0.

And two rods with the part number stamped on them 525-7364.

They look virtually identical but I know you cannot mix match some rods with others due to the balancing of the weight of each rod.

Are these rods compatible to be mixed together please help.

I believe these rods are pre January 1st 2010

If my research is correct I think they came out of a 5.9L liter Cummins.

    2011ram 2500,
