    Muffler Advice?

I have 4" Jamo turbo back on my 2017.

I'm looking to put a muffler on it to stop the drone and quite it down a little without messing with the flow to much. anyone recommend one?

    I installed a 17" FTE resonator.

It knocked the drone down in the cab but still left a really good sound outside.

They make a 30" if you want to reduce the sound a little more.

Hi, I need to quite my truck down it has a 5" exhaust with a muffler and it has some drone to it I would like it not to have any.

What do you think, would work with the muffler it's 30" long?

To reduce or eliminate the drone your best bet is to install a resonator.

A muffler will reduce the overall sound level and add some restriction, but you will still hear the drone.

    Thanks for your help.

What brand or type of resonator I don't know because I am new the the Dodge Cummins.

The truck I bought is a 2012 Ram Limited crew cab short box with only 29113 miles on it.

It's like new, shoes haven't even touch the floor mats the guy I got from took excellent care of it.

So all the help I can get is appreciated.

I did a full delete on it with a DRD turner.

FTE or Flo Pro are most popular. They all have similar straight through designs

I put a stainless Cherry Bomb on mine about a month ago and really like it.

    It's a straight through 4" design with a 7" can 30" long.

Summit Racing had them for $42.00.

You have a sound clip of what that cherry bomb sounds like and some pics?

I can get it tomorrow. It sounds much like the Flo-Pro that I had on my last truck. Not much louder than stock at idle but can hear the exhaust brake scream. It's finally getting warm enough to ride with the windows down to hear it. No sound with windows up.
