So I've been working on the suspension the last couple days. You can see the angled and shifted coil buckets on the front. They actually move the coil bucket rearward an inch and angle so that the coils sit straight. I don't know why Dodge designed the coil buckets to be angled and make the coils bend and bow out.

But first test drive was AMAZING! this kit with the relocated coil buckets and the way they relocate the track bar this thing drives unbelievable. I also installed Thuren soft ride coils at same time which are supposed to be around 30 percent softer than the stock springs.

The truck drives like a car now! I'm very happy! I still have a few details to finish up like installing the Thuren boogie bumps and getting it aligned.

Ignore the drag link is angled down a little.

I'm waiting on my stock pitman arm to arrive because this had a Fabtech 6 inch lift so it has the dropped pitman arm currently.

So once my stock pitman arm gets here I will be able to swap those and get the drag-link more parallel like its supposed to be.

Also you can see I installed the KING steering damper.

I have not gotten my KING shocks yet so I'm just using the bilsteins that came with the AEV kit for now.

The KINGS are still a month or so away.

Taking a lot of time to get all the details done between work and life. LOL

I got one rear fender cut out to fit the new flares.

Hopefully I will have all that done soon.

I had to cut out about 4 inches for the flare all the way around.

Here is a picture also I found online of a black truck with the flares so you can get an idea what they are gonna look like.

I sent the bumper pieces to the powder coaters to get color matched to truck with the metallic black pearl.

Look at the size of these cast iron tow hooks!

They are massive and heavy.

Working on the first flare install driver rear, test fit is looking pretty good.

Man I had no idea these would be so hard to install.

Taking a day to do one flare.

You can see too they come with marker lights in them which ties into the tail light harness later.

Seems like all the little details never end.

Will also need to cut and fit the new inner wheel wells later and maybe move my FASS fuel pump forward a couple inches on its bracket.

Makes those 40's look small LOL You could easily do 42" tires

Those 40’s look like 15’s now.

Working on little things.

The AEV suspension kit came with these black rear bump stop spacers.

I had bought these Boogie Bumps from Thuren already.

So since they used countersunk head screws to screw into the stock bolts on frame I had to go online and order longer 70mm bolts to fit the boogie bump plates over the AEV spacers and bingo we have a complete bump stop done.

Thuren charges an extra $75 for the taller lift bumpstops so I didn't wanna spend that much money if I didn't need to so managed to make all these parts work together perfectly.

Its part of the deal when your mixing and matching parts from different manufacturers.
