According to the manual, front filter every 15,000 and rear every 30,000.

Personally I change my front at every oil change which I do at 10,000 miles or 1 year.

The rear I change out every other oil change which would be at the 20,000 mile mark.

    Do you idle excessively?

Did you reset it to 100% the last time you changed the filters?

Should I just reset it and go 5000 miles!

You should be able to go a maximum 15,000 miles OR 12 months.

Not sure why you are at 14% already.

Personally I would error on the side of caution and inspect the front filter at or near 0%.

If the filter looks clean then reinstall and finish out your mileage or time whichever comes first.

If the filter looks dirty then replace both and reset your counter.
