Help! Hey guys and gals. Having a lot of issues right now with my truck. Long read but don’t want to leave out any details.

Truck has been fine for the past 30k miles. Last night I was cleaning up the engine bay removing some connectors and wiring that is not used anymore.

I was very careful and made sure nothing touched or shorted out.

I removed the grid heater relay and the associated wiring.

I removed the throttle valve and egr connectors near the intake manifold.

Also removed the valve cover pressure sensor and wiring since I have a billet cover that doesn’t use the sensor.

I made sure each wire was capped and not contacting any other wires.

Went to start the truck and the dash was displaying “depress clutch and push button to start” and the radio was saying enter anti theft code.

Went back to the engine bay and checked the fuses, the fuse for ecm/pcm/dcm was blown (Red 10a mini fuse).

Replaced the fuse and the truck started up like nothing happened.

Fast forward to today, went to start the truck and it’s acting like a manual truck and asking for the anti theft PIN number.

Called the dealer and got the PIN number, put it in, radio unlocked but truck is still saying depress clutch.

hooked my cheap scanner up and came up with codes U0100 and U1415.

Tried to reflash tune and clear codes to no avail.

I took the batteries to be load tested and both tested fine, have the printouts as well.

    Help please!

    Re: U0100 and U1415

    Ok, update.

Pulled out the fuse box and reseated the 4 electrical connectors on the back side.

Went into the cab and the truck started right up.

Check engine light is on and the EZ Lynk is communicating now.

    The codes being thrown are:
    U3017 Control module timer.
    U0100 lost communication with pcm/ecm A.
    U140D.
    U1415 implausible/missing vehicle configuration data.

I hope everyone has a blessed Easter weekend!

Thanks for the update pleased to hear you are making progress.

The U1415 code points to the Body Control Module.

I have attached a copy from the Mopar Tech Authority on this code.

Hopefully this will be of some help.
