    Engine fan

I'm new to the 6.7 , I have a 2012 and when I start the motor the clutch
is engaged through the warm up and driving.
this can't be normal, is it?
    I'm used to a 290 Cummins and a 300 big cam.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I know mine spins too almost always. you can tell if the fan clutch is engaged though if you rev the motor a bit and you will be able to hear the fan pulling more air. at least my experience is the fan tends to turn because there is not anything to hold it back so the natural inertia of the shaft spinning inside the clutch makes the fan spin even though there is really no power behind the spin.
