@DRD does this sound like it was tuned way over and smoked itself?

I know she would flat run when I got her and pull the world into if I could have found a way to chain it to her.

I'm new to all this tune an delete stuff, so if I ask a dumb question it's just lack of knowledge on my part.

No dumb questions here friend, but we are thinking you have EFi Live on the truck and it was tuned way over and smoked it, but want to here what DRD has to say friend.

    Yes.

This is precisely why we don't turn up the power on a Cab and Chassis truck.

It did come with a EFi live box, but I didn't know what I was looking at.

It had this add on knob that the farther I turned it up the more awesome the truck would run minutes before it went boom.

I raced a mustang and he got me on the 3rd setting but on 5 he was staring at my flatbed.

Well it was a expensive learning experience.

She almost back on the road and with a lil more understanding of how all this works hopefully "knock on wood" I have learned my lesson!
