    Well FFS

    Did the service.

Changed the valve body and solinoid pack.

Now get code 750 and a 562 then she goes into 4gear and stays there.

Until I clear the code then she runs fine.

Took it to Midas they did a quick learn 750 came back.

    Any ideas?

    Tranny shot?

Most of the time with this code it will be the solenoid but that doesn't mean it could be a wire, dirty fluid or something else. I would probably go with a better brand if you decide to replace it again.

How much was it, a new OEM one is about $250. How dirty/old was the fluid? Dirty fluid/debris kill solenoid packs. Did you replace the transducer too? I know you mentioned you were on a tight budget but for around $80 it may help.

It’s a pain to check in the transmission but you can check resistance on pin 2 and 10 on the solenoid pack, if you get an open reading you got a bad solenoid.

If it’s bad just swap it out. I’m assuming doorman’s are reman units. Bound to have some fail from the get go. Doorman’s usually above average quality.

That being said every trans I build gets a new oem solenoid pack.

The 562 code is PCM seeing low voltage if I remember correctly.

I’m assuming you disconnected the battery for the vb repair.

That codes not going to be related to the vb issue.

    Re: Well FFS

So I was thinking I would change the VB and put a new sol pack in and no more 750 but 740 still there.

So now ordered transgo shift kit just for the TCC limit valve check valve.

    The over sized bore thingy.

LOL now looking for a TC since can I can't use a 48RFE TC?

Or do I have to use a specific 68RFE?
