    5” Muffler Recommendation

Hey guys, looking for some recommendations on what to do with my new exhaust setup.

Just installed a FLO~PRO stainless 5” with muffler and a resonator up front on my 17’ CCLB.

I think it sounds great but the wife thinks it’s still a little loud in the cab getting up to speed.

I am thinking of either adding a second FLO~PRO muffler, or going with the Donaldson 51” in place of the muffler that came with the exhaust.

Would adding a second FLO~PRO muffler do much?

    Or anything at all?

    Thanks all.

I am running the 30' resonator and no muffler.

    Sounds great no drone.

I went 5 inch turbo back.

Originally straight pipes and hated the loudness.

Installed the FLO~PRO 5 inch twister muffler and it not only quitened her down a good bit also made the exhaust sound much better!

I would recommend getting it or a similar resonator.

If you added a muffler AND a resonator and she still thinks it’s too loud, then it’s time for a replacement.

I bought the MBRP quiet flow muffler I heard it sounds good and is quiet.

We will see it has different design than other muffler that just have holes drilled in the tube it has a ton of little baffles on the pipe.
