"Other than"?!? That "update" in itself is more than enough reason, I think.
I'm still miffed after what used to be a great (car) forum got "improved", and that was a year ago. Some 1,000 of us migrated to another forum within three days, and while the replacement isn't quite the same as the old one was, it's at least not part of the completely money driven conglomerate.
It's just the update.
If it was just dealing with the design, I could handle it. However, spam is now out of control.
Hell, when I went to send a "Conversation" to Jimmy N letting him know to join over here, I even got redirected to multiple spam sites...
In all, they destroyed the user experience. I bet we will see more people joining over here soon.
This forum is about to get a bit more lively.
