J1939 Connector

Curious before I go plugging stuff in where it don't belong I thought this data connector was 3 wires but mine come from the factory with only 2.

Has anyone run into this?

Its a three prong plug in the exact location as in Ray’s video just that it only has 2 wires.

Was plugged into a dummy plug.
