    Full Delete Install Issues

I am hopefully going to do the full delete and tune this weekend on my 2016 2500 Cummins.

My question is this, when you did yours is there something you feel like you would have done different or maybe had on hand tools or materials wise that would have made the process easier?

Also how much time should I allow for this install.

I have an extensive electrical background and have always done my own mechanical work.

    Thanks

Just got done doing everything but the EGR delete, it's next on the list.

Only thing that really gave me a headache was not laying out the exhaust beforehand and having to go back a few times to take it off and change pieces.

Definitely soak all your exhaust bolts and hangers with WD40.

Make sure to have a crows foot or cut down a box end wrench for the front egr bolt, I beleive it is a 15mm.

Since this is your first time deleting I assume, pull the passenger side fenderwell, drain some coolant so you don;t make a mess pulling the cooler.

Stubby wrench works the best-ratchet wrenches are worth the investment.

For back bolt 3/4” drive deep socket.

The only tool I needed and had to run out and get was a 25mm open end wrench to remove the coolant fitting that goes into the block from the coolant riser.

Deep well socket would not work for me.

Check out this youtube video (set of 3)

It was helpful to have some kind of order.
