    Replacement Turbo Questions

    I'm looking for a little performance upgrade on my 2018 3500 Cab/Chassis.

    Apparently these have a smaller turbo installed than what is on the pickups.

    Can someone recommend anything particular?

    If I do upgrade do I have to change anything on the MM3 tuner?

    Truck is already deleted fully.

    First off do you tow a lot / do you want to keep your trailer brake?

    For recommendations there's lots of options depends on what kind of setup you want and how you drive.

    With that I recommend getting some studs if upgrading the turbo.

    For the MM3 new turbo you'll need a retune.

    2014 ram slt. 6.8L, s472, ddp supermental 150%'s, 12mm CP3, fleece powerflo, stage 2 d&j head, revmax 700,

    Ray has mentioned that being a Cab/Chassis, he can't tune it any further.

    Yea I believe you’re limited to 100hp tunes on a cab and chassis, most tuner won’t exceed that.

    Especially dodge the head is different and they have trouble dropping valves in stock form, let alone tuned.

    So the tuners are just looking out for the end user is all.

    Now if you swapped a head from a 2500/3500 that may change the game if you want to get serious, but not worth the trouble for most.

    2018 2500, G56, SSSB3600, Arp625 Head studs, Arp Manifold studs,BD Diesel FMW 467.7 2nd gen swapped, MM3 Custom tuning by Ray, Ceramic Pro Gold, Toyo Mt 33x12.50x20, Hostile Sprocket 20x10 -19, Fass 165, DDP 150 sticks,10mm exergy stroker pump, Bd Throttle Booster, Money Pit! The fass165 150 sticks and 10mm pump did ok but was running out of rail for anyone interested. It's now gonna have DDP 100%'s, DDP 12mm pump and a FASS 250gph
