    What Is This?

I just recently purchased this 3500.

And the PO put in an electrical fuel pump etc. Anywho, what is this thing with the cut fuel lines and why is the new fuel pump getting its power from this device?

Is it a fuel solenoid or fuel shut off of some sort?

The reason I ask is that I'm about to redo all the wiring for this area today.

And ultimately, it I can just run the new fuel pump to something else and I can completely remove this device it would look a lot cleaner.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    Figured it out.

It's a fuel tank switch valve.

Yes I'm restoring this one. I got a small resto thread going for it.

Just got it. Doing the wiring and simple stuff first before I start dropping dollar bills on it.
