    2018 68RFE PO733 and P0734 3rd and 4th No Shift

    Got in this morning no issues on the way to my shop 2 miles, got in 3 hours later as it had started to rain, started it up and the engine light was on then just started missing 3rd and 4th completely and threw those codes.

    Absolutely not a hint of anything bad before that?

    58k on it now put Rays stuff in at 38k and have never even remotely beat on it as I still need head studs so I didn’t ever feel good about getting on it but I have pulled my skid steer and other trailers with it but that’s not often?

    I guess I’m wondering where I should go from here, I really was planning on getting an upgraded one at some point but I wanted to do it on my terms not the trucks?

    Is there any hope it’s something that doesn’t cost 8k?

    I am thankful it happened close to home, that was nice!

    Sounds like snap ring in 2C4C clutch popped!

    It could be solenoid issue but that can be checked with scan tool.

    Where are you located?

    Not really that expensive if you buy parts and can install yourself.

    For half of that you can build A 1000 hp trans if you keep your truck for 10 years a good build pays for itself.

    You should upgrade a few parts but not everything like I’m doing.

    68RFE does not like power upgrades.
