    Lag When Cold

    I have a 2017 RAM 6.7 with 71000 miles.

When the truck is cold and I take off down the road the truck has a lag.

It feels like when you hit a bump at low speeds and your foot comes off the gas and back again.

Sometimes its barely noticeable and others it’s really noticeable. Its been in the shop twice and they can’t find anything wrong with it.

    No codes.

    Tranny has been serviced.

Just wanting to see if anyone has had this issue.

    Thanks in advance

I could be wrong, but my understanding is the ecm is designed to not apply much turbo boost till the engine is up to operating temp.

It happens when i take off.

I have heard what you said before but I don’t understand why it just started doing it now.
