As mentioned, I had the battery tenders since they first came out and had to change them after a couple years of constant use.

I've had the NoCo chargers for the truck, car, tractor and lawnmower for 5 years and except for the one I had to change when lighting hit my power lines, will never own another brand.

YES, hook up to surge protectors for safety. But you will not regret buying them.

And if there is a possible 2 to 4 days without using any vehicle, I plug them in.

Thanks guys! I have tenders all over the place (sxs, mower and the pride of the fleet, my CUMMINS).

I’ll use what I have for my little batteries and get a noco for the big boy.

    Thanks again, much appreciated.

Do you have a good supplier?

Also does everything I need come with it?

Jaxson: I bought all 3 of my different Noco charges from Amazon.

I can't get the Noco products anywhere locally... These clowns have no clue what a Noco even is... Most are more concerned with being on their phone during business hours then actually tending the store & helping customers...

All my Noco products have come with only the quick disconnect battery clips... I had to purchase the other Noco accessories separately - though not very expensive at all...

    Oil: -SHELL- Rotella T6 5W-40 & T5 15W-40 combo w/LF16035
68RFE/BW44-46/Power Steering: -Red Line- C+ ATF
Frontend & Rearend: -Red Line- SAE GL-5 75W-90NS
Many Small Mods: Interior & Exterior

Thanks syN, what other accessories would you recommend?

I’m basically just planning on using for the big boy,as it’s in hibernation till the salt gets washed off the road.

I would invest in a decent quality surge protector.

I also really like the permanent quick connect battery terminal adapter - makes hooking up very fast & no clips (just plug in).

I am **** on everything involving my Ram & I wrapped all the wiring in plastic wire loom - just in case the hood slams shut on the wire - the actual wiring will be some what protected.

That's about all I can come up with - it's fairly simple.

Is Big boy going to be in the garage or out in the elements?
(This will change my set up) but easy to adapt to work).
Extension Cord first - Then surge protector & Noco under your hood & plugged in to battery with quick disconnect.

A thick gauge extension cord might be important as well - if parked outside away from the nearest outlet. (I bought a HD 14 Gauge - 15Amp 25Ft) just in case I had to park the JUDGE outside...

Now! If your rigging up a system like Bobs? He best chime in - with his advice...

If you’ll get the 3 things I listed from amazon you’ll be set. I’ll post a link of surge protector I bought(it was a daily deal for $27) with the other links. You’ll be set with this set up and obviously you’ll probably need an extension cord. Don’t overthink it, this thread made it easy

I can attest to the waterproof nature of the NoCo G15000 charger.

I left it hooked up to my boat all winter and the charger was sitting on the deck.

My red cable is a bit faded now but that's the only issue that was noticed.

I will say the way it shows how it's charging made me think my battery was completely dead and being charged so don't be alarmed when you see it start at 25% and work it's way up to full charge.

It does this over and over even on a fully charged battery.

It's apparently how it's being maintained.

This was my first NoCo charger, but I've been using their battery terminal "blood" for years.

Up until this I had been using Schumacher chargers and I also tried an Optima charger (currently being RMA'd because it died within it's 3 year warranty), but after having this NoCo charger, I don't plan on using another brand.

I too bought mine from Amazon.

The quick connects aren't the same flat 2 as most other brands, at least on my charger I assume due to the amperage, but NoCo does sell an adapter to go from their X connector I think they are calling it to the flat 2.

That's good to know they can take the elements and still work properly.
