Leveling Kit on 2500 w/Air Suspension

I am considering installing a BDS leveling kit on my 2017 2500 with factory air suspension.

Has anyone installed a leveling kit on an air ride rig?

I am wondering what pumping the rear bags up does to the ride.

I love the ride and would hate to ruin it.

If I could level it without adjusting the rea I would prefer that route.

If im not mistaken it makes it to where it doesn't move the air bags. It keeps the sensors in the stock location technically with the added blocks in the rear.

It is space blocks upfront, and just sensor rod extenders.

Which will trick the computer into pumping up the bags the required 1-2", which assuredly will stiffen up the back.

You might have to install some larger aftermarket bags where the empty ride height is already that increased ~2" and then can still pump up to re-level when loaded.

I think you're right that having the factory bags always pumped to +2" is going to pretty much defeat the purpose of them all together.

The extenders are compensating for the block. The setting in the middle is equivalent to the stock setting. The top hole and the bottom hole should give you the 1/2 inch lower or higher ride if you so desire.

This is from BDS directly because i had to verify this for another customer recently.
