    Trans and Engine Tuning?

I’m new here so hope I have the right spot and hasn’t been discussed before.

I searched but couldn’t find my answer.

I have 15 2500 Cummins with a ATS facing co-pilot, billet torque converter, and ATS performance valve body.

I’m wanting to get a MM3 but my main concern is my co-pilot.

    Do they work well together?

Cause I’m not needing the trans tuning with the MM3 and I’m not familiar with it, not wanting to create an issue.

    Great question!

    Let's ask @DRD?

If you bought a tuner from us and wished to continue using your copilot...you would simply mention that in your order.

We would then set your tuning up to include a bone stock transmission tune as that is what is required when using a copilot and our tuning.

Ahh ok gotch that makes sense. The other question I had with it, being I’m using the co pilot and mm3, would they been in tune? By in tune I mean when I switch modes on mm3 do I have to the Ats as well? This is what has me confused LOL just trying to make sure I’m making the right move cause I don’t want my Ats mess up cause of the mm3 and as well as the other I don’t want my Ats throwing the mm3 out of wack which in return truck drives terrible from not syncing together.

When I had my BD Protect68 I didn't use the controller. Ray tuned the trans with higher line pressures through the MM3. I wonder if you could do the same and ditch the Co Pilot letting Ray's tuning take care of it. @DRD would need to confirm.

The copilot would work independently from the MM3 if it is used.

However the best thing to do is ditch the copilot and let the tuner tune the transmission. You will have better results.

Yeah that’s the route I’m leaning towards.

Just frustrating as to that co pilot cost me $1100!

It is what it is I reckon LOL.

But thank you for the help much appreciated!!

    Re: Trans and Engine Tuning?

So I have an MM3 Currently installed on my 2016 RAM Fully deleted.

I also have an ATS deep-pan, ATS Performance Valve Body along the Co-Pilot, all of which I haven't gotten around to installing yet, but I am planning on doing it all here pretty soonish.

So what you're saying is to not even bother with the Co-pilot and let the MM3 handle the trans tuning? @DRD that question is for you.

Your insight would be much appreciated, and I want to get with you to see if you could do me up with some new tunes for the MM3.

    TIA!
