I would be interested in knowing how many miles on average that you see people getting out of each tire on a diesel pickup.

    Mud, all terrain, hybrid.

I'm personally sold on Cooper tires.

I've had 4 sets on 3 different vehicles with exceptional wear and handling.

2 sets of highway treads on 2 Tahoes, a set of AT3s on a F250 that got 55,000 miles, then replaced with ST MAXX.

They were wearing good when I sold the truck.

All of them worked well in snow, rain, light mud.

    Hardest part is, variables.

Some guys run higher pressure or lower.

Heavier truck/ truck setup, where they drive, how they drive etc etc.

    The list goes on!

We've seen some people get 10k out of a set of coopers, and guys pull 50K miles out of a cheap cheap brand!

I have been using the bf Goodrich all terrains.

I'm on my second set of them with 126,000 miles on the truck and I have been using them since I have had the truck new.

The current (second set) and still have about half the tread on them left.

I will be in the market for a new set of tires in the near future. I've been looking at the Michelin LTX M/S, my intended use case is towing. I haven't read anything bad about the Michelin's and they come in at the top of all the reviews I've been reading.

Michelin does have plants in the US, how are they stacking up?

Every Michelin I’ve ever owned on several of my vehicles, the side walls dry rotted out and still had 70-80% tread left. Yes they are a good riding tire but I’ll never own another set ever again...

Good to know. Any suggested alternatives? Don't plan on much off road use unless you count in and out of campgrounds, might do some light boon docking depending on the situation.

I purchased the Falken AT3W Wildpeak. Best traction in snow and wet roads in my opinion plus they are way cheaper than the Michelin’s, Toyo’s, etc...

This is the first set I’ve ever owned so for longevity I can’t say yet.

I have around 8,000 miles on them now and they seem to be holding up well.

The reviews on them are excellent.

I have been running Michelin LTX M/S 2, but thinking I am going to switch to Cooper Discover A/T 3 LT next time.
