Thread: Truck Won’t Start

  1. Top Of Page | #1

    Truck Won’t Start

    2017 RAM 2500.

Batteries were too low to start my truck.

Installed new batteries, went to start the truck and no power when key is turned.

Dash lights up when door is opened, dome light works and headlights work fine.

Batteries read 12.6 volts with a meter.

My MM3 will not power on as well.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    All connections tight & correct?
    Unplug MM3 from OBD port.
    Try to start.

Tried to unplug. Checked all grounds. My key fob will not work either. Can’t lock or unlock the truck. Hoping it’s not the pcm

Did you try using your spare key?

Can you lock/unlock the doors inside the truck? Is your truck push button start?

Still having no luck with this problem.

Doors lock and unlock with the door button.

    Lights all work.

    Key fob does nothing.

No panic mode, no lock or unlock.

Put the fob in the ignition and does nothing.

Could the security have locked me out?

I’d just get a new key made, I’d imagine they’d just need your vin number. Have you went through your fuses and checked every single one?
